Get an early start to your day with a pre-dawn departure from Waikiki. Our 12-passenger van will transport you to an ungraded ridge overlooking Kailua and Lanikai Beach on Oahu’s northeast coast. Relax and watch the sun light up the landscape. After your hike reward yourself with a swim at one of Oahu’s nicest beaches. Sunbathe, swim, or boogie board during this 1hr stop before hiking a short but often muddy trail to a hidden waterfall. View some of the sights unique to the east side of Oahu while driving to one final stop on our way back to Waikiki. This tour is designed for most ages and abilities. Gear rentals are available for those that wish to minimize their risk of trips and falls. Our guides will document the day through photo’s which will be made available after your tour.

Our two favorite beaches on the island. Enjoy the warm and calm shallow waters on the Island’s northeast coast. Boogie boards are provided for those that want them. If our stop is Kailua Beach you will be a short walk from Buzz’s Original Steak House where you may opt to enjoy an appetizer along with the island’s strongest rum drink.
This is a very popular sunrise hike on Oahu this hike is also available on Sunrise East Side Hiking Tour. Climb on top of the pillboxes or find a perch to relax and watch as the sun rises out of the Pacific to silhouette the Mokulua Islands. Behind you the 3 peaks of the majestic Olomana light up a fiery orange as the first rays of light kiss it’s slopes. Our guide will be ready with their camera to capture your own Silhouette in front of the rising sun. This is one of the must do hikes on O’ahu.
Lanikai Pillbox Hike
A 30-minute hike up a 600ft ungraded ridge provides excellent photo opportunities during sunrise. Suitable for most abilities your effort will be rewarded with one of the best sunrise views on the island. To the east the sun will rise above the Mokulua Islands. To the west is the majestic Olomana which turns fiery red in the morning sun.
Likeke Falls Hike
This short, heavily forested, and often muddy trail leads to one of the most interactive waterfalls on Oahu. Despite the very short trail there are a multitude of plant species along the way ranging from mountain apples, wild ginger, and bird of paradise to giant Banyon trees. Likeke falls is a 30’ tall multi-tier waterfall. There are several ledges that can be climbed that give great photo opportunities while lying down directly in the flow of water.
